Derek is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments and his qualifications include: Certificate in Investment & Financial Advice, CISI Investment Advice Diploma, RE5 Financial Consultants & Intermediary Services (FSB South Africa)
 
Derek is married with two young children.

Co-Founder & Director of the business, Derek (originally from Scotland) moved to Jersey in 2000. This led to 17 years working in the banking & private wealth sector for a number of Tier 1 institutions (HSBC, Société Générale & Standard Chartered) & a period in London for a Swiss Bank & Multi-Family office. He co-founded D&C in 2017
